Celebrating Caudwell Youth’s 2nd Anniversary

The past two years have been an inspiring journey of growth, transformation, and milestones at Caudwell Youth. What started as a small team with a shared vision of filling the gaps in support for at-risk young people, is now a fully functioning charity, that is making a change and pushing forward the possibilities of support through mentoring for young people.

Starting with just 35 young people, we’re now proud to support 222. In just two years, we’ve received 605 referrals and provided over 18,000 hours of mentoring support to at-risk youth. The young people we support have achieved remarkable things, from improving their circumstances and home lives to even stepping up as mentors themselves.

Our team of dedicated volunteers has also expanded, with 488 applications received over the years and 155 active mentors currently working to make a difference in young people’s lives. Their commitment has been essential in bringing support and guidance to each young person we support.

Despite these successes, we’re seeing growing challenges. There has been a 53% increase in NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) referrals since we launched. This increase highlights the rising level of risk facing young people today. Now more than ever, Caudwell Youth’s services are essential for providing support to at-risk young people and guiding them toward brighter futures.
